Grand Chase debuted in its home country of South Korea in 2003. The game then began to expand globally and enjoyed tremendous success in the following years, until its company, KOG Studios, made the decision to official shut down all of its servers worldwide in 2015.

The game’s closure left many fans feeling disappointed, and despite the creation of a mobile version of Grand Chase that followed after the main story, players still missed having access to the classic PC game mode.

Then, on June 29th, the game received a brand new Steam page overnight, along with the announcement of its beta version and the official release date. The classic’s re-release was simply titled “Grand Chase Classic.”

How to Sign Up for Closed Beta Testing

To pre-register for the game’s closed beta and gain access to it, the player must go to the Grand Chase page on the Steam store.

First and foremost, you must already have an account on the Steam platform. The account will be linked to the beta testing platform, and everyone will be able to download the game through it as well, once it is officially released.

Afterwards, you need to register as a tester on the game’s official page there and wait to receive an email from Steam with the developer’s confirmation and invitation so that you can access the beta version. The confirmation emails are set to be sent sometime during July.
